Kapselfedermanometer

 

Kapselfedermanometer sind wertvolle Messwerkzeuge im Bereich der Druckmessung. Dies gilt sowohl für die entsprechende Arbeit mit Flüssigkeiten wie mit Gasen. In unterschiedlichen industriellen Anwendungsbereichen geben die Manometer wichtige Auskünfte, ob mechanische Arbeitsprozesse innerhalb der gewünschten Parameter ablaufen. Wie funktionieren Kapselfedermanometer?

 

Das Herzstück eines Kapselfedermanometers ist eine Metallkapsel. Sie kann z.B. aus Federstahl bestehen. Auf sie wirkender Druck deformiert die Kapsel. Nimmt die auf sie einwirkende Kraft ab, dehnt sie sich wieder aus. Diese unter Druck erzeugten Zustandsveränderungen werden Bewegungen genannt. Sie lassen sich messen, um den genauen Druck zu bestimmen.

 

Erklärung der möglichen Druckanzeigen

 

Drei Einheiten kommen für Kapselfedermanometer gängig zum Einsatz, um über den Druck Auskunft zu geben. Erstens handelt es sich um "Bar". Dies ist die klassische Einheit für Druck. Ein Bar ist der Druck, den eine zehn Meter hohe Wassersäule ausübt. Zweitens kann das Gerät auch eine Anzeige in Pascal (Pa) ausgeben. Diese Einheit beschreibt Druck sowie mechanische Spannung. Ein Pa ist der Druck von 100 Gramm Sand, der gleichmäßig auf einem Quadratmeter verteilt wird.

 

Drittens existieren auch Lösungen, die PSI als Einheit wählen. Die Abkürzung steht für die englischen Vokabeln "Pound per Square Inch" bzw. auf Deutsch "Pfund je Quadratzoll". Es handelt sich um den Druck, den eine Masse mit einem Gewicht von einem (angloamerikanischen) Pfund auf eine Fläche von einem Quadratzoll ausübt, wenn sie mit einer Normalfallbeschleunigung auf diese trifft.

 

Die hier für Sie verfügbaren Angebote nutzen überwiegend die Einheit Bar bzw. mbar, da diese für die Messung des Luftdrucks üblich ist. Die gewählten Einheiten sind aber stets auf dem Gerät deutlich vermerkt.

 

Für welche Einsatzbereiche eignen sich die hier erhältlichen Kapselfedermanometer - und für welche nicht?

 

Kapselfedermanometer dienen wie erwähnt der Messung des Drucks von Flüssigkeiten und Gasen. Die im vorherigen Abschnitt genannte Druckluft zählt beispielsweise zu den Gasen. Benötigt werden die Geräte in der Automobil- sowie der Raum- und Luftfahrtindustrie. Hilfreich sind sie ebenfalls im medizinischen Bereich, in der chemischen Fertigung und der Energieversorgung.

 

Zu beachten ist allerdings, dass den Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Kapselfedermanometern Grenzen gesetzt sind. Nicht genutzt werden sollten sie für kristallisierende und hochviskose (d. h. "geringe Fließfähigkeit) Medien.
