Dichtmaterial von RIEGLER - kleine Dichtungshilfsmittel mit großer Wirkung

Dichtmaterialien sind überall da notwendig, wo ein Medium durch Rohre und Anlagen fließt - schließlich soll eben jenes Medium auch dort bleiben. Aus diesem Grund muss man sich auf die Qualität des eingesetzten Dichtmaterials zwangsläufig verlassen können, gleichermaßen sind auch Grundsätze der Wirtschaftlichkeit zu wahren. Bei RIEGLER finden Sie deshalb unterschiedliche Dichtlösungen - die sich schnell und einfach vor Ort integrieren lassen.

Unterschiedliche Arten von Dichtmaterialien

Die Funktion von Dichtmaterialien ist offensichtlich: Sie sollen schnell und einfach, aber ebenso zuverlässig abdichten. Unterscheidungen gibt es aber mit Hinblick darauf, wie sie ihre dichtende Aufgabe erfüllen - ebenso wie bezüglich des genutzten Materials.

Speziell im Bereich von Druckluft und Pneumatik kommen unterschiedliche bewährte Materialien zum Einsatz, wie auch das umfangreiche Sortiment von RIEGLER aufzeigt. Sie können da zwischen diesen Stoffen wählen:

  • Vulkanfiber
  • Polyamid
  •  Aluminium
  • Kupfer
  • PTFE

Unabhängig des genutzten Materials, müssen solche Dichtungselemente immer zum jeweiligen Gewinde passen. Wenn Freiräume zwischen Dichtung und Gewinde entstehen, kann aus offensichtlichen Gründen auch das Material selbst keinen Unterschied mehr ausmachen. Dichtungsringe müssen also fest anliegen, was nur über eine Anpassung auf das jeweilige Gewinde (wie zum Beispiel M5 oder G1) möglich ist.

Hinsichtlich des Materials sind insbesondere die unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften der jeweiligen Stoffe zu berücksichtigen. Polyamid kann beispielsweise Temperaturen von maximal 80 °C trotzen, ein Dichtring aus Aluminium hat hingegen eine Toleranz bis zu 250 °C und einer aus Vulkanfiber von maximal 75 °C. Bei Ihrer Auswahl müssen Sie also ebenfalls bedenken, welchen Temperaturen die Dichtung unmittelbar an der Rohrleitung und in Bezug auf das Medium ausgesetzt ist. Die maximalen Temperaturtoleranzen sollten keinesfalls überschritten werden, anderenfalls verschleißen und zersetzen sich die jeweiligen Materialien, wodurch es dann wiederum zu einer negativen Beeinträchtigung der Dichtungsqualität kommt.

Weitere Dichtungselemente bei RIEGLER

Abseits der Dichtungsringe, die sicherlich am weitesten verbreitet sind und in vielen Fällen eine sehr gute Abdichtung gewährleisten, finden Sie hier auch noch andere Dichtelemente. So beispielsweise Gewindedichtfaden, die typischerweise aus PTFE oder Polyamiden bestehen. Diese dünnen Fäden werden vom Rohrende bis zur Rohrmitte gewickelt und sollen die kleinen Einkerbungen des Gewindes verdichten, also dort die zwangsläufig existenten Freiräume auffüllen.

Konische Gewinde lassen sich vielmals zudem sehr kostengünstig und schnell, selbst ohne handwerkliches Geschick, mit Hilfe von PTFE-Dichtbändern abdichten - die im Volksmund manchmal auch schlicht als "Teflon-Bänder" bezeichnet werden. Spezielle Dichtbänder, können auch an Rohrleitungen genutzt werden, wo aggressive chemische Medien fließen. Das PTFE-Material zeigt sich dahingehend als ausgesprochen beständig, es klebt, quillt und versprödet nicht.

Generell ist bei allen Dichtmaterialien darauf zu achten, dass keine Reste des Materials in die Rohrleitung gelangen, da sie dort anderenfalls das Medium verschmutzen könnten oder es zu einem Stau des Mediums kommt - welcher dann weitere Beeinträchtigungen der Rohrleitungen und des Durchflusses mitbringen würde.
