Wodurch unterscheiden sich Spiralschläuche von anderen Schlauchvarianten?

Allen voran natürlich durch die namensgebende Spiralform, die den Schläuchen eine hohe Flexibilität gewährt. Dadurch lassen sich diese Verbindungen individueller einsetzen, die Spiralen wahlweise etwas in die Länge ziehen oder stattdessen kurze Verbindungen damit umsetzen, bei denen dann kein langer Schlauch mehr im Weg liegt. Die besondere Bauweise der Schläuche in Spiralform verleiht diesen zudem eine hohe Langlebigkeit und Stabilität.

Natürlich gibt es, was die Eignung der jeweiligen Spiralschläuche angeht, erhebliche Unterschiede - da ist vor allem auf das verwendete Material zu achten. Spiralschläuche aus Polyurethan kommen zum Beispiel auch für den Einsatz in nicht überdachten Systemen und Anlagen in Frage, da PUR neben seiner hohen Resistenz gegenüber chemischen Stoffen auch einen hohen Resistenzwert gegenüber Mikroben hat. Spiralschläuche aus Polyamid charakterisiert indes ihre sehr gute Korrosionsbeständigkeit, da der Kunststoff effektiv nur ausgesprochen wenig bis gar kein Wasser aufnimmt. Dadurch kommen solche Spiralschläuche auch in Umgebungen mit einer hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit in Frage. Bei einem Einsatz in Außenbereichen ist aber gegebenenfalls noch die UV-Beständigkeit zu berücksichtigen, die normalerweise für nicht überdachte Flächen nur bei einer entsprechenden Einfärbung in ausreichender Höhe gegeben ist.

Tipp: Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach besonders robusten Spiralschläuchen sind, achten Sie bei unserer Produktauswahl auf Modelle mit einer Gewebeverstärkung. Abseits davon können Sie bei solchen Spiralschläuchen, die bereits eine Kupplung besitzen, auch das Material dieser in Ihre Entscheidung einfließen lassen. Für die Kupplungen kommen beispielsweise blankes Messing oder verzinkter Stahl in Frage.
